A new workshop has been added to the leadership development series available through the Washington State Department of Personnel. This one-day Mastering Change Workshop will provide leaders and key staff with effective strategies and pragmatic tools to facilitate individuals, teams, and organizations in moving from where they are to where they want to be. Participants in this participative workshop will learn methods of:

  • Creating a shared and compelling direction
  • Identifying the gap between where we are now and where we want to be
  • Moving from the “problem” to the “success” paradigm
  • Moving people through the stages of change
  • Dealing with resistance in a positive and productive way
  • Building long-term ownership and commitment
  • Facilitating the change “sticking” and achieving desired results
